Robbie Elhassan, General Manager
Robbie is an accomplished IT leader with more than 17 years of management experience in the planning and deployment of IT strategies and solutions. His exceptional leadership skills have been instrumental in successfully guiding organisations through complex technology and management assignments in order to accomplish full business potential.
Robbie is highly regarded for his abilities in building and leading diverse IT teams within disparate environments. Robbie started his career as a systems engineer and network manager for a leading Australian University, where he worked for some 4 years. Robbie then went on to head the IT Department for Babcock & Brown, an international investment and asset management group, for the Asia Pacific Region. During his 11 year tenure with Babcock & Brown, Robbie transformed their IT operations to support the fast growing investment finance business across multiple locations internationally.
Since joining Excite IT, Robbie has brought distinctive value to the company through strong leadership, fresh perspectives and the introduction of best practices. Robbie is responsible for the overall management and coordination of the company’s functions and initiatives.
Robbie is able to provide clients with successful business models to develop and promote collaborative systems that lead to innovation and business agility. Robbie’s extensive experience in the industry ensures technology investments deliver the expected return on investment and effort.
Robbie holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Engineering), a Masters in Management and an MBA from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM), Sydney.
Bryan Saba, Founder & Managing Director
Bryan has led the dynamic growth of Excite IT through his incisive technical knowledge as well as business management skills. As the former IT Operations Leader for Genworth Financial, a leading provider of Lenders Mortgage Insurance and credit enhancement product solutions in Australia and New Zealand, he was responsible for managing the total IT capability of the international firm. This included directing a large team of IT personnel, ensuring the smooth running of all systems across six offices, and maintaining high level security and redundancy systems to comply with all financial industry standards and deliver superior service to Genworth’s client base, among other activities. This, combined with previous management and technical roles in IT, demonstrates Bryan’s ability to deliver consistent and reliable IT systems while successfully leading a team. As a qualified business programmer, he offers clients specialist knowledge in the application of IT to any business setting.
Ronald Sporri, Head of Operations
Ronald brings to Excite IT a stellar career including more than 20 years at Unisys, four of which were as Manager – End User and Infrastructure Services for the Asia Pacific operation. In this leadership role he was responsible for delivering reliable and effective services to Unisys subsidiaries across 11 countries and around 6,000 seats including oversight of incident and problem management, change and configuration management, service delivery, and vendor and relationship management. His many role achievements include reducing infrastructure server support costs, improving the speed of service desk responsiveness and building a knowledge database for improved service standards. In this, and his earlier role as Manager – Client/Server Computing-Technical Support, he has proven his skill as a leader of significant and diverse teams including providing professional development and mentoring. With previous roles including Data Centre Analyst for Nestlé and the Union Bank of Switzerland, Ronald is an expert in IT management including ITIL service, financial, vendor, risk and asset management as well as process improvement, system integration and technology deployment. His interpersonal skills coupled with his technical prowess make Ronald an industry leader. Ronald is currently completing his MBA at Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
