Wow what a year! As the year draws to an end we would like to thank you, our valued client and partner for our joint success in 2015. We would not be here if it wasn’t for your support and partnership. Keeping it short here is a wrap up of the key trends for 2015:

Business Process Automation is the way forward

Business Process Automation (BPA) is the technology-enabled automation of manual functions or work based tasks. Many of our clients are improving their overall workflow and achieving greater efficiency by automating their processes. With Excite IT’s BPA services we have helped a number of our clients eliminate time consuming manual tasks, save money and focus on strategic activities. We have an exciting off the shelf BPA application we are launching in 2016 that will be revolutionary. It will make your staff and resource management more streamlined and effective, improving the overall experience… watch this space.

Microsoft Office 365 has proven to be a powerful business tool

Office 365 is proving to be a big hit with enterprises of all sizes. The implementation of 365 has been readily applied as it provides unmatched productivity and cost effectiveness. There is always hesitation in relation to security and cloud based storage. If this is your view, Excite IT recommends organisations should consider taking a layered approach to their security. This will increase your comfort levels and confidence when working in the cloud. Talk to us about your Office 365 and cloud needs.

IT is bigger than the IT team

‘Have you tried turning it off and on again?’ a question that most departments curse and yet, IT loves. 2015 solidified that IT services are important and useful to all departments of an organisation, gone are the days when IT only mattered to IT.

Employees are now able to work anywhere from any one of their devices. They need to be able to analyse data all while considering security. They use their thumb print to access files on their phones and are able to 3D print their next project. Employees’ accessibility to the best tech based products means IT are engaging with the business more than ever and taking a deeper look into what would work for your company.

The decision of what systems and programs would be uniformly used across any organisation has been predominantly dependant on what the head of IT wanted. Companies need to be strategic to find out the best service for each department and their staff needs. Time to start treating departments in your business as a client of your IT services. Across 2015 we have helped and supported our clients in this shift of thinking.

The year ahead

Our approach is to match bespoke IT strategies with your organisational goals. As 2016 commences your business’s progression will be our main objective. We never push emerging technologies for the sake of it.

Kicking off in 2016, we are implementing our Community Reach Program. Working with St. Vinnies Australia, we are hoping to grow a volunteer base with help from our employees, clients, partners and affiliates. Be more than just a Year-End Donor, be a Year-Round Supporter.

Whatever your plans are for the silly season, Excite IT would like to wish you all a Happy and Safe Holiday and may your new year be filled with gizmo’s and gadgets of the tech variety.

See you in the New Year
